  • We had the Somerfield £6 crown on special (originally had a forzen 3 meat joint from Aldis but thats still in the freezer)
Made 4 big dinners out of it. Turkey was lovely. Cooked it using the "THIS MORNINGS" chef instructions. It was really moist and tasty.

I bought my 3kg turkey crown from Morrisons, which has only been open a few weeks so I thought I try to shop there. Turkey was lovely, not dry and we have lots left over. It was easy to carve, can't wait for tigerbread with turkey and chutney today for lunch..
  • I had a 2.7kg crown from Devon Rose. Beautiful meat and very moist. Large piece left in the fridge!

  • No I wouldn't by a BM turkey crown again. Not dry exactly, but rather tough, for want of a better word.

Will buy fresh and freeze it myself next time.

  • Fresh Crown from Aldi - cost £13.66.
Fed 7 from one side - delicious.

Cooked for 140 mins, buttered the breast, and covered it with smoked streaky bacon.

Will DEFINATELY buy same again next year.
