I think that has worked well this month ideally I’d like to be under it but we shall see. This total does include all household and toiletries so I guess it’s not bad.

Can I please join. I really really need to get a handle on my food budget as I am haemorrhaging money that could go to debt or sinking funds. We're a family of 2 (me and an incredibly hungry boy in his late teens). I'm going to try and get a handle on meal planning as I'm not good at that, and I need to learn to bulk cook and freeze meals. I'm disabled and often lacking in energy or in pain, so standing around cooking is not easy. But I'm hoping to get on top of that so that I don't waste a small fortune on take aways.

My budget for February is £250 

This is including small household items like washing up liquid, foil etc. Larger items like toilet paper, laundry pods etc will come from the £25 monthly household budget.

Including  toiletries/ cleaning products my budget for this month is £425

2 adults(one veggie) and 2 children (includes a non stop eating teen) 

I will be using cash and putting the change in a jar

Hello! I’d completely forgotten about this thread, sorry! I’ve been caught up with the NSD thread, and a couple of other low-spend threads, as well as my own diary. But I remember how useful this is for tracking grocery spending, which is a predominant area of minimising spending for me.

My budget for February is £120, for 1 adult.

January’s budget was £150, and I’ll be rounding out the month with £10 remaining, and I dipped into it for non-grocery things, so I’m hoping that £120 will be manageable for February, if a bit more care and diligence is practised.

Thank you elsiepac,  I'm continuing with my annual budget of £1200, for one person. January was a cheap month but I know that I'll have to spend more in February as I'm starting to run out of basics.

Hi, January ran away from me and I forgot to take part. Back here for Feb though. £90 for 1 woman and 2 hungry cats for the month covering groceries, household and toiletries.

This seems so high, but my focus at present is moving from my old weekly budgeting to calendar monthly due to change in income pay days, so we'll see how it goes. 2 adults, 1 almost-teen, 1 dog, inc toiletries and household. Running Feb 1st to Feb 29 inc.
