Can anyone please help , what sort of price should I be looking to pay to cut this tree to the stump . Its leaning over slightly and worried it is going to topple with these winds and end up causing damage to my sheds / neighbours fences . will start phoning around tomorrow but want a price range in mind .thanks

Looks like the tree surgeons will have to take it down in stages. There is also a lot to be chipped and disposed of... several hours work. A few hundred quid I would think.
Others may have a better idea.
Kind Regards,

It will probably cost more if you want it done in a hurry... the right people to do the job will be very busy for a few months after tonight.1 -
I would expect £5-600, couple of guys for most of a day with a chipper.0

thanks , made a few calls . Been quoted £120 to cut it down and another £160 if I want it taken it away ( £280 in total). Was going to have them cut it down and into managable chunks and then cut the branches off and dispose of myself but not too sure if it is worth the effort to save £160 .0

Sounds too cheap to me.
Are they a legitimate business with proper insurance in place ??

If the space is big enough to fell it in one go I guess that cuts down on time.
Regarding taking it away, you are responsible for any waste you give/pay someone to dispose off, granted it's probably hard to trace a tree to someone but if they fly tip it you can end up on the hook, always best to follow guidance on this (from 2016 but I think reflects the current situation):
If a private business takes away your waste rather than the local authority, you should checkthat they are an authorised carrier with up to date and valid registration. Each carrier shouldhave a registration number starting either CBDL or CBDU, followed by a set of numbers. In England you can check whether a waste carrier is registered on the Environment Agency’sonline public register of waste carriers, brokers and dealers using their registration number, business name, or postcode or call 03708 506 506.In Wales you can check on the Natural Resources Wales public register of carriers, brokersand dealers or call 0300 065 3000.Instances where a private business is exempt from registering are very rare in the context ofhandling household waste. In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces1 -

If you have use for the logs, get them to chip the waste so that you can use it as a mulch (or get rid of it if you don't want a pile of mulch). Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0 -
That tree is enormous! Did the co. come and see it, because £280 all in, sounds very cheap. Although, I do accept prices vary around the country.
We've just had a large fir hedge and an old damson tree removed, chipped and area completely cleared. Two trips to get rid of the chippings. £800. Surrey.0
