    They are giving wrong information out about welsh water and defaults

    Sorry, I think you mis-understood my comments, what I said was utility companies don`t have to follow the consumer credit act, which they don`t, I didn`t mention consumer laws at all.

    The consumer credit act does not apply to utility companies, as they do not lend money.

    Wrong socrates you said they don't need to follow any laws or rules !! i didn't use the phrase consumer credit act ??? Utility companies have to follow the consumer rights act . We consume water it’s obvious , water companies cant do what they like same as any other company .  This is why welsh water and any other companies are being heavily fined at the moment . The public /customer have to be protected . Hope this clears things up .
