You’re a bunch of legends!!! Got my Gatwick ticket waved today because of you!! Thank you 🙏🏻 Never paying £6 again 🤣2

Happy New Year and a thank you to those who put their time and effort into this thread.
I got a PCN at Heathrow back in November, when I remembered to pay but a day too late and the Apcoa website refused to allow me to pay. After a bit of searching I found this thread.
I want to share that I never got an email confirming the PCN was cancelled; I had to go onto the portal where the PCN was issued / evidence was displayed, and saw in a box at the bottom, "This PCN/ECN is now closed. Thank you." Others may experience the same if awaiting a response.3 -
More success this time at Birmingham airport. A driver stopped and let a passenger out at the crossing by the short stay parking right by the terminal. The normal letter came through the post but wasn't opened until about 5 weeks after issuing. Vehicle keeper went on the website and replied with the draft that everyone has been using here and just had an email response saying the PCN has been dropped.
Huge appreciation for this thread!2 -
Received Heathrow ticket 3 days ago for, did a collection at drop off and forgot to pay. Must've been in there for 20-30 mins. Should I still try appealing or best to bite the bullet if they see I have been there longer than I should have?0
-
Doesn't matter. As long as the driver is not identified there is nothing they can do. Use the advised appeal.2

So I'm appealing via their website: heathrowdropoffpcnpayments dot apcoa dot com
Which option should I select?Click on the reason for your challenge
- My vehicle was stolen
- The contravention did not occur
- The amount specified on the notice is incorrect
- I was not the Registered Keeper/Driver at the time of the contravention
- Mitigating circumstances prevented me from parking correctly
- My vehicle has been cloned

On average how long does it take to get a response? I understand its on hold and can on their automated response says it can take up to 35 days but just curious0
-
As it says: 35 days but it doesn't matter.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
