So i should not respond to the POPLA communication containing the APCOA evidence?  Even though my original appeal wasn't smart?

I appreciate the advice and hardline you take on here, but to individuals who don't know the ins and outs of this, it can still be very worrying and I do not want to start receiving Debt Collection letters.  Yes it maybe ok to ignore them, but it is still concerning.

Respond if you wish to POPLA, but be ready for a rejection. That doesn't mean you pay - no one should at POPLA rejection stage, and if APCOA is involved, never pay!  They might ask debt collectors to write to you - but that's all debt collectors can do, just write to you. Please read the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, fourth post, about dealing with debt collectors.  Really an APCOA charge is probably the most benign of any private parking charge, and our experience of dealing with this stuff regularly over many years, means we can confidently provide you this advice.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    Thank you.
  • Like I said, if you want to donate money, there are better causes than APCOA to support

You can laugh at them, not be concerned about them. This forum knows its stuff.

Imagine some desperate , red faced individual sweating in his attempts to come up with the threat that will make you pay. THAT is what it boils down to. Debt collector letters make fair firelighters. I have proved this scientifically.

Do not ignore Letter of Claim etc, not that we expect you to ever see one

    Please explain why?
You do realise you have no debt don't you, only a trumped up group of chancers have contracted another group of chancers (on a no win no fee basis) to send threatening letters claiming you have a debt!

@LordLee - it times out after 6 months so you could have ignored it. This is nothing and is going nowhere.
