Can you honestly say that no points on the list that has been posted on this thread are applicable to your actions within the last 12 months? If so, you have nothing to worry about other than challenging a decision in the correct way and getting things put right. If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.
Secured/Unsecured loans x 1
Credit Cards x 8 (total limit £55,050)

Banks can close accounts for a multitude of reasons, so if they haven't got in touch with you, it's best to check for a CIFAS marker (which I believe someone else provided above).
It's easiest to start by opening a current account with another provider, but make sure to do an eligibility check first. Nationwide is a great example. You might though have to manually transfer your direct debits etc. I'd always also recommend having a secondary account just in-case elsewhere, perhaps Starling or another high street bank.
If you haven't yet received communication, you can call HSBC or go into your local branch and ask for more details. Sometimes they will provide them, sometimes they may not. You can always submit a complaint if they aren't acting very well.0 -

You are aware that you have to give HSBC 8 weeks to deal with the complaint, unless they issue a deadlock letter before that.
FOS will not action anything yet.
Even then FOS will not resolve your complaint in days. You are looking at months.Life in the slow lane1
