Well I've opened up about the equipment and how much I need to get the project started. All I need now is to find honest help. I will now stop responding and hopefully someone can come forward with an offer of a grantto help me. Thanks
As has been thoroughly established from the beginning, there are no grants for random people doing dodgy DIY solar/battery projects with the cheapest parts they can find.

No one is going to just give you this money no strings attached, you don’t want to finance the project yourself, and you’re not looking to raise the money from crowdfunding by providing something of value. Where do you realistically expect this money to actually come from?

Everyone wants to reduce their energy bills, and I’m sure many would love to have even a small microgen setup, but you can’t get something for nothing. It’d be great if I could pop down the local council and ask for a free £1000 for whatever hobby/project/moneysaving scheme I’ve been thinking on this week, but that’s just not a thing they do in the real world.

This is why the people here have been trying to understand what you’re trying to achieve and have suggested more practical alternative approaches, none of which you’ve taken an interest in. That’s fine but don’t expect the funding you seek to just be handed out to you, and I’d be especially wary of any stranger from the internet attempting to do so.
    Moo…

Why not get a second job in the evenings and save up for it?
  • I’d also suggest a post on the Debt Free Wannabe board with a Statement of Affairs to see if we might be able to offer some suggestions of the best way of dealing with your debts, and any savings that might be possible on your current outgoings too,
