Grant for personal individual project to help lower energy cost

Hi I am just about able to pay living costs but my energy bill is creeping up. I have researched a project that would benefit my cost of living. If I was able to get a personal individual grant to build a small solar battery backup system this would really help with my cost of living energy bill. I am looking for around £1000 to fund the project. This will really contribute to lowering my energy costs but i can not afford to build it without the help of a grant.
I have looked on my local council, Citizens Advice Bureau and the government grants options and there are nothing for individuals. I do not own my own property so grants from them are not available. I am really looking for some way to get a grant for the stress of cost of living for me and my family.
Thanks for any advice

What do you think you can put together for £1000?0

Hi are you able to help me with the grant?0

A £1000 would give me enough equipment and batteries to treacle charge so allow me to take the strain of my main electric energy usage on the grid every day or every other day I can divert battery power to use household Utilities this will allow my electric energy costs to gradually come down0

The cost of living is putting overwhelming worry in general on me and my family and I am legitimately trying to find somewhere that can help me get a grant to start the small Project eventually when I can afford to I will gradually upgrade it to make it a better system but this has taken me a while looking into finding the right staff cheap enough to get a grown0

What's your payback period? Can you share your calculations?N. Hampshire, he/him. Octopus Intelligent Go elec & Tracker gas / Vodafone BB / iD mobile. Ripple Kirk Hill member.

I would be surprised by this, the cost of solar panels, inverters and batteries able to supply 230v 50hz to your household is not cheap, certainly above that cost by several multiples. You also cannot connect random electrical equipment that could cause an unauthorised export to your home system, the equipment has to be certified and so does the installer. It would also certainly be against your lease to start messing with the electrical system of the property.1 -

Landlords are unlikely to object to free home improvements.ECO 4 won't give the OP money for his bright idea, though. It's for professional installation of energy-saving stuff.

Ayne a gofund me type thing to raise the money but perhaps you can specify what the £1000 buys and then it could become a design for others once up and running?0
