Afternoon all, had a friend round early doors for a cuppa and a chat and then I just got distracted by various things, including keeping the fire going because of extreme parkiness. Nothing doing today, just some crocheting and off to Ohs mums for supper. I must remember to takethe bag I have for them. We had a box of quality street but neither of us like the fruit ones so there's a bag of orange and strawberry ones for Ohs stepdad. We're going to have to come back early to keep the fire in. It's far too cold to let it go out. I remember the big snow in the early eigthies. At my parents house they had four steps up to the landing bit by the front door and another step again, the snow was level with the front door. Exciting when you#re a kid....

Oh nanny, what carp news. I hope you got caught at a treatable stage, it's such an out of body experience when you hear those words even if you think it is. big cwtches for you and mr fixit. snoozer, I did laugh at your story, I bet he was lucky to avoid boxed ears..Izzy, you go careful for a change, and wrist warmers as well as fingerless gloves. Cut the ends off a pair of long socks if you haven't got any, they really do make a difference, along with a neck snood/warmer. Take super care of yourselves all, wrap up or stay under a blanket.
