Get a meter fitted for your LPG

It was driving me mad on not easily been able to keep an eye on my LPG gas usage. So i purchased a meter & fittings & got my gas engineer to fit it on my next boiler service. Now this was at a cost of £120.00 in total with a cheap cctv camera. "CCTV ??" The only place the meter would go was in the loft, as that's where the boiler was. I also have cctv around the bungalow with a few spare canels. I also didn't want to be climbing into the loft every time i wanted a reading.
So now i have a spread sheet with all my household bills & the equation for the gas reading is :
(Number of cubic meters used = 5*3.85*0.5) = £9.62 for 5cm of lpg at 50p/pl

So was there no gauge on the tank? Seems like a very complicated solution to me.0

For the readings and maths there will be fluctuation due to cold weather in winter, that will balance out in the summer reading wise.
The LPG is affected by the cold you see (a little but it is)0 -
