    I've changed taps here, replumbed the entire central heating system along with the hot water pipes. Never, ever had flooding. Water has escaped on a couple of occasions, but this was always contained. The nearest I've got to a "flood" is a solder joint springing a leak - Wrapped a cloth round it and slipped a small tray underneath which stopped the water going everywhere while the system was drained down.

    But still you got your H and C mixed up :-)
    Nope. They've always been that way round. I'm not going to change them now just because some random on the internet says it's wrong :p

    My bro, who has built all his own houses, six in total, I think, fitted the taps the wrang way 'roon in the first, and then stubbornly refused to change for all the others :smile:
