help with se w580i needed please
Hi, when I put songs into it, if i go into them via music, they are all in the relevant folders, but if i play it via the walkman they are all in different folders, some saying 'unknown artist' and it only plays a few of the songs unless i add them in manually...i don't want a lod of folders, i take it it's taking the info from the mp3 tag but i dont wnt that, all i want is one, maybe 2 folders and a list of songs, not 2 folders then 1 song it's just too much. Also, when i 'shake' the phone, it doesn't move on to the next track. Any ideas?

for the shaking to skip the tracks, you have to hold the walkman button down when you shake it.
are you using disc2phone to transfer the songs to the phone?0 -
thanks, yes i used disc to phone, then i did it the manual way using it as an external drive, it adds them where i want in the music folder, but when i play it through the walkman half of them end up in an 'unknown' folder and the rest i have to add in from music manually...all i want is one folder with all the songs in, can i set it up to do this? it keeps putting them in loads of different folders by default! i know they are from different albums but all i want is everything in one folder.Fr. i have one folder with all my mp3's in on my k810i and it works pretty well.
what you have to do is to create a folder on the mem card in the music folder (for example, MP3) and put all the songs in there. you will have to do this while the phone is in the file transfer mode (but dont use disc2phone) and then create a playlist in the walkman0 -
Thanks, i did that the other day, but when playing thru walkman, it still puts them all in different folders like 'unknown'...it creates a folder in walkman for every song! in 'music' they are all in the relevant folder tho. What am i doing wrong?Fr. Stack: While you were out, I got the keys to your car. And drove it into a big wall. And if you don't like it, tough. I've had my fun, and that's all that matters.0
