Land Registry alerts and ownership transfer

Hello
I’ve recently bought my partner out of our house so it’s in my sole name.
My solicitor told me on completion (this was mid-December) that they were now going to notify the Land Registry.
I have a property alert set up on the property.
I understand it can take several weeks/months for the Land Registry to reflect the change, but does anyone know if the property alert would typically be triggered much earlier i.e. when they receive the application, or when they get around to processing it?

I’m trying to determine whether the fact I’ve not received an alert should make me soon check with the solicitor that they did send off the transfer form, or whether I likely wouldn’t receive an alert for some time.
Thank you.

You will get an alert when the application is logged; just had one when I applied to remove my late wife from the house deeds.

The alert comes through inside about 30 seconds from the application going in. I know this because I did the application for our purchase a few months ago, and quite deliberately set the alert up before I lodged the AP1 as I was curious to know how fast it was!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I would have thought you should have received something by now, I’ve received immediate notification after setting up the alert from an application on going (so before the alert was set up)0

Allowing that Christmas has been in the way, it's possible that the application hasn't gone in yet. if they are waiting for a hard copy TR1, for example. Not ideal, I'll grant you, but possible.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

You would receive an alert by email within minutes if a significant application being received against the title in question. So if you haven’t received one I suspect they haven’t submitted it yet; have done so but against wrong title; or the email notification has gone to your spam/junk folder
Check the latter and if nothing check with the solicitor. If you want to DM the title number I can check also“Official Company Representative
