Anyone else having a problem with the Halifax app saying their phones rooted/Jailbroken

    That HFX app version also works fine on a Pixel 8/Android 14.

    Hi there,

    Reading through previous comments regarding jailbroken/rooted on your mobiles re Halifax Mobile Banking App, I too have in the last few days have had the same message, Jailbroken/rooted detected...

    I have Halifax Mobile Banking App on my iPhone 8 which connects okay, however on the Android Samsung Galaxy 12 bought used, after downloading the same Halifax Mobile Banking App and tapping the App to open, I get Jailbroken/rooted detected, a message I've not seen before other than now on this used Samsung recently bought...

    I'm using the Samsung more than the iPhone, I'm assuming - (rightly or wrongly) - that possibly the used Samsung may have had it's secure factory settings removed?

    Does anyone else have this Halifax Mobile Banking issue maybe on their new mobile devices too?

    I've been a Halifax accountholder for many many years and also using their Mobile banking for many years too. Has the Halifax in the background changed/altered their account security features? I've not been notified via online email of any changes/alterations?

    Have any other Halifax accountholders been notified re account security changes/alterations, or not notified?

    Just started getting this error on my Pixel 7
    2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.

    Not fixed in latest update, lots of others complaining about the issue since update to Android 14 but it won't let me leave a review for some reason.

    I don't know but my phone just did an Android security update and now it works :)
