I raised a dispute with the CRA this afternoon and it didn’t really let me explain anything, so should I send a follow up email?I’ll try a complaint to Vodafone too again but if they want proof of name change should I send a copy of my change of name deed?0

Complain and quote the ICO guidelines of default after 2-3 missed contractual payments - though note that this isn't mandatory and a lender who is being difficult doesn't have to change themSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Thanks to everyone who has replied.I will of course look at those ICO guidelines.I spoke with the national debt line this morning too and they have been invaluable.0

Thought I’d post an update. The CRA who had it listed, as I checked all 3, have agreed with my dispute and said they will remove it.0
