Woohoo - to Barclaycard I assume? You made a decision and followed it through. Well done.1

Sounds like you are making a fab start. Fun to read, and hopefully fun to write, will keep you motivated to keep going. The early days are all about decisions and choices and learning and strategy. After a while it turns into routine, and that's when you will need the fun and the challenge to help you stick to the plan. Good luck.Save £12k in 2025 #33 £2531.77/£5000 (If this carries on I might have to up my target!)

That is good. That should take the Barclaycard to less than £1k. You should do one of those visual charts where you block out a square for each £10 or whatever for each payment taken off. Or check out the payment a day challenge on the DFW challenge forum.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Above all else it's nice to get out what I'm feeling and thinking, no matter how ridiculous.
I don't want to be constantly talking about money with DH so this is a good outlet for me.
I really appreciate all the advice and comments.0 -

You've got far more wins than fails and you're still at a very early stage of your journey, so I think that's good going - well done.2
