"When the time comes for you to tax your vehicle (on or after 1 April 2025), your vehicle tax will be calculated automatically"

They are talking about calculating whether you pay the £190 (+ whatever the Budget does!) standard rate, or the £20 (+ whatever the Budget does!) pre- 2017 rate.

So taxing from 1st March for 11 months of free tax is still on!

An EV charged from a coal power plant is still lower emissions than a combustion car.

And there are no coal fired power stations in the UK any more.  The last one shut down recently.
