I moved to OFTM just before Toto the Clowns went tits up. They managed to get my gas meter registered as metric within days, which is something Toto just couldn't (wouldn't) do.

Fell out with OFTM when they couldn't tell me exactly how they were calculating my monthly debit - Customer Services had gone downhill at the time.. But I did find their online chat system to be OK up until the end.

Now jumping ship from Eon to another company that offers a much better EV tariff (when I get a charging point installed).

They must have has some good financial backing, just hope they can carry on with their cheap rates.

I was with OFTM for a year or two back in the day. No problems except having to keep nagging them to return my credit when I left. I'm surprised they survived the Big Shakeup, as there always seemed to be rumours about their finances.

I did find a warning letter to the new director (seems to have taken over from the previous ones a couple of years ago) from Ofgen requiring improvement before they lose their licence but looking at the date of issue I suspect they must have resolved things to their satisfaction.

I think it's a bit strange that that article makes so much of their cheap offices. I'd be more concerned if they weren't in cheap offices.
