Saw the Fred Olsen advert on TV, so I decided to find and look at the "standard" advert online to compare to the one on the comp page:-



Compare the stills above to those highlighted earlier in the thread and you can see the "country clouds" are missing.

I think this confirms the answer is

India 0:03
Singapore 0:35
Myanmar 1:02

Clue #3 has thrown the cat among the pigeons.

The Sun is setting, the sea its mirror. Are any of the cloud shapes getting clearer?

This definitely relates to the scene at 1:05

The original unaltered advert shows:


The competition scene shows a pair of clouds that appears to be Malaysia:




...so it now seems we have four correct answers:

Clue 1: Here comes the waiter with your coffee pot...
Answer 1 = India 0:03
Clue 2: There's a mountain ahead and you're getting hotter...
Answer 2 = Singapore 0:35
Clue 3: The sun is setting, the sea its mirror...
Answer 3 = Malaysia 1:05
No clue yet, but I'm sure that:
Answer 4 = Myanmar 1:02

Maybe they want any 3 from 4 answers

Maybe Myanmar is a red herring and they only want the countries that the clues point to (or a mistake that was going to be included but not removed).  India, Singapore and Malaysia are also all on the cruise itinerary, while Myanmar isn't.

Clue 4: More than a billion people, festivals Galore, This country is home to a worldwide wonder.

I believe this is another clue for India (the worldwide wonder is the Taj Mahal)

Clue 5: IT MAY BE TINY ON THE WORLDWIDE SCENE, BUT THIS COUNTRY’S RENOWNED FOR SPACES GREEN.

Looks to confirm Singapore, small country but  It is one of the world's greenest cities with approximately half of its land (900square kilometres) under green cover

Clue 6: A shrine to the deity amid the caves, let’s sail into the beaches and make some waves.

Possibly referring to Batu Caves in Malaysia, and Malaysia has plenty of beaches

I've only had internet access on my phone and, my eyesight not being great, would've really struggled to find the answers 🥴

Went with India, Singapore & Malaysia in the end 🌏

When I submitted entry form I noticed that the confirmation states that winner will be notified after the 26th Feb rather than the 27th which is the end date in their comp description... not sure now which one is correct...
