Octopus Broadband

Just wondered what people's experience of their service was like. Currently paying £25.01 for Vodafone broadband which has been ok, but Shell/Octopus currently offering fast broadband for £19.99 pcm plus £9.95 set up cost, so considering switching. TIA.

Avoid Shell. Their customer service have been awful. I have been with Vodafone not just for mobile phone sim-only but also for broadband for several years now - always found their service and customer service to be pretty good.

I'm currently with Shell for the second time (was with Voda in-between).

They sent me their router, I swapped it on changeover day, it works.

Shell's account management website isn't flashy but it works too.

I understand it Shell Broadband customers will go to TalkTalk.

I guess if you expectations are already at the Vodafone / Shell level then moving to TalkTalk won't be any change. Personally you couldn't pay me to go to any of them. Fed up of having to deal with them to help friends and family.
