Cheapest way of calling other mobiles?

I have just changed over to Vodafone pay as you talk as I was on contract but need to save some pennies. I have talk talk landline but one of my best mates is on t mobile and has no landline can you tell me the best way to call t-mobile? I dont mind buying another pay as you talk phone if need be or something else any ideas???
