Thank you both again! They haven’t bothered to reply to the email yet asking them the above but they have gladly sent this text now, I assume another attempt to intimidate…

Yes they are trying to frighten you into paying. You know to ignore E Mails just watch out for anything sent by snail mail.If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0

I give them full marks for effort1

Just a small update - I have not heard anything from them since I sent the email.. not sure if that’s a good or bad thing!0

I received this letter a couple of days ago.. is this another where I should respond now? It’s just they haven’t put any sort of date which I need to respond by?
also- last month I have arranged a living agreement through work where I am able to save more money towards an emergency fund which should help a lot.0 -
Well its neither nowt nor sumat to be fair.
Its not an official LBA, as it does not include the 30 day return paperwork, as far as I can make out its just a letter informing you of their role in proceedings, now will they send an LBA before issuing a claim, as per civil procedure rules, who knows, this is how they like to confuse the issue, and get you to contact them.
I would say its just another frightener, but see what @fatbelly thinks.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Is that a Yorkshire phrase, @sourcrates ?
It doesn't appear to a letter before action LBA, more a LBLBA.
I suspect a proper LBA will follow, and guidance as ever, is here

Thanks guys. I’ll just wait until receiving the proper LBA as previous and go down the same route.1
