RevU on triple points at the moment.
Have eaned over 700SB on surveys this evening (so far).
Second SB record for me in 2 days.0 -
I've ended up overshooting again what I needed for a £3 voucher but will just ignore the excess - With search wins only worth from 3.2 p each, daily free games that were worth 10p now only 4.8p, codes 5 times a week instead of 7, cost of Amazon vouchers up by 25% (125 SB a £ instead of 100) - I would like to have hung around until Sept but they are just taking the pee now (some activities instead of how many pounds an hour does SB pay it's how many hours does it take to get a pound).3

Collector's Bill for National Doughnut (they say Donut) Day - 8SB + 5SB bonus. And they seem to have sorted out the problem of loads of spurious surveys appearing and reappearing in the list!7

Thanks for spelling it correctly, Molly. You should have got an extra 5 SB bonus for that!

So is everyone redeeming their SB for the vouchers as there is no difference in cost now for any amount
is it 25 per £1.Anyone holding out for £100 like myself0 -
I have started to draw down my balance. Went for 10 USD to Paypal, used my 300 SB Swagup to withdraw £15 to Paypal and now have another 15 and 10 USD showing as processing. My current balance is just under 100 SB at the moment. I will go for the daily first search win and daily poll , if I manage, and whatever comes in from daily trivia and swagcodes but won't bother further, especially not over the summer. If if got nothing to do in the winter I may go back. I don't do surveys at SB, the only surveys I do is occasionally for yougov.missymouse said:So is everyone redeeming their SB for the vouchers as there is no difference in cost now for any amount

I’m confused about the USD
is that dollars and what is the reason for that
thanks0 -
I just withdraw and get send USD instead of GBP into my Paypal account. I can use the money either to buy something in USD in pay with Paypal e.g. USA holiday or withdraw to my current account. The latter means Paypal does the currency conversion, the conversion isn't very favourable but I can withdraw when the market exchange rate is more favourable vs SB using a fixed exchange rate based on the fixed SB rate required to get 1 GBP.missymouse said:I’m confused about the USD

All attempts to withdraw USD into a USD account with Wise, Revolut, etc failed as Paypal insist on making the transaction to their rather bad exchange rates. That's how they make a lot of money.
If you know somebody in USA you could get a USD payment into your Paypal account, you send that as friends & family payment (no fees) to a family member or friend with a US based Paypal account. They withdraw the USD balance to their checking account e.g. Revolut/Wise and send it from there via ACH payment or as friends & family payment (Revolut allows to send funds this way by email address) to your UK account. You can now use the much more favourable Revolut/Wise exchange rate to convert back into GBP.
Quite a faff and only worthwhile on higher sums e.g. a few hundred USD each month.1 -
Friend and family payment is a good idea if they are in USA as the money is already in dollars so no exchange rate (have I got that right)
so if you holiday in USA how do you access money from PayPal or do you buy stuff with PayPal when there?0 -
You can buy stuff there, e.g. you buy something online, theme park tickets, etc. and at checkout if they offer Paypal you pay with your Paypal balance. Or you buy USD gift cards online e.g. Walmart and pay with them in the shop.missymouse said:Friend and family payment is a good idea if they are in USA as the money is already in dollars so no exchange rate (have I got that right)
