The staff member that came here was adamant that we have the correct item as per required. We would have been delighted if the issue had been as simple as a small human error that just needed swapping for the correct item. But it seems that’s not the issue.MFW date 2nd Jan 2024 - task complete YAY!0

And what has your checking of the labels on the 2 mattresses shown?madaboutspots said:The staff member that came here was adamant that we have the correct item as per required. We would have been delighted if the issue had been as simple as a small human error that just needed swapping for the correct item. I haven't done that. There's nothing we can understand on the label on this one but I've not been to store since it arrived - in bed with flu. And hubby didn't think to check.
As we've gone down the route of stating it's not fit for purpose I don't see the benefit of confusing the issue by trying to now suggest it's the wrong item. The store has had every opportunity to confirm to us that they ordered and delivered the correct item - and confirmed that the one here is as it should have been from that perspective.
I'm sure showing my face at the store will just aggravate the issue as well as the potential to confuse our claim so unless it's imperative to take this action, I'm reluctant. Having had the store confirm to us (rightly or wrongly) that the item delivered is the same as the one in store (or should be) I'm inclined to take the view (again - maybe not correctly) that it's their issue to prove they're different in that respect.MFW date 2nd Jan 2024 - task complete YAY!0
