Experian- Natwest preapproved but already have NatWest card

Options
I have about £6000 on a M & S 0% purchase card which is due to expire.
I did a credit card search on Experian for a balance transfer card.
A Natwest 14 month 0% fee BT card came up as 'pre-approved'.
I already have a Natwest 0% BT card (accepted Sep 2022, 0% ends July 2024) and I owe £2800 on this.
Is this a problem or will my existing NW BT card already have picked up? I don't want to be rejected as I'll have to make another application for another card and wouldn't want a rejected credit application on my record.

If the NW application was approved I'd plan to transfer my M & S balance and about £2k from a Lloyds credit card. I'm sure they are different banking groups? Let me know if I'm wrong!  I know I won't be able to transfer the old Natwest balance to the new card.

Thanks!

M/S is classed under HSBC group.

Natwest is part of RBS and Lloyds is separate.

Does it say anything that 0% deals are for new customers only??  That might be the crucial thing rather than whether you are allowed a second card.

It didn't say that on Experian.  I've just done a check on this site for credit card eligibility and the same NW 0% 14 month BT card comes up as 0% chance of approval :(

The eligibility checkers on such sites are far from perfect. MSE credit club gives me both 90% and 0% chance of approval for the same tesco 0% no fee BT card.
If are still looking for a BT card Santander have a 0% no fee card (unless pulled in last few weeks), doesn't seem to show on comparison sites and has its own soft search eligibility checker.
