Hi there,
Please could someone verify what my next steps are. I have two tickets:
Issued: 24/09/23
Location: Parc Fforestfach Retail Park, Swansea, SA54BA
Received: Initial letter from GroupNexus including timestamped photo of car on entry and exit
Parking duration: 3 hours 22 mins (3 hours free)
Reason: Went to Cafe Nero for a few hours to do some work, had no idea there was a parking charge in force and did not see any signs (and street view appears to show they are unclear)
Actions taken: Followed main MSE guide and chose to go down the route of 'The no-nonsense approach – tell 'em you won't pay' by sending a letter through the post (albeit a couple of months later, probably mid Nov). Have received two letters (I think) from 'Direct Collection Baliffs Ltd' (Notice of Debt Recovery: 04/12/23, Final Reminder: 27/12/23) informing I need to pay £170.
Changed address in September and the GroupNexus first letter was sent there (And possibly more I'm unsure). Had already updated my dvla address and then dcbl sent to the new one. Had not updated my v5c (done today) so also sent a SAR and Rectification request to GroupNexus & dcbl (today).
Have tried to find the Landowner but so far no luck, does anyone know who owns the land for Parc Fforestfach Car Park? (Searched the forum and savills came up but that doesn't appear online)
Location: Parc Tawe Retail Park, Parc Tawe, SA12AS
Received: Initial letter from GroupNexus including timestamped photo of car on entry and exit
Parking duration: 2 hours 57mins 36 secs (3 hours free)
Reason: Went to JD gyms. Thought parking was free for the gym but there may have been some tablet to enter my reg into however I was unaware of this and didn't think signs were clear (on street view). The signs on street view clearly state 3 hours free and I was under this time.
Actions taken: Followed main MSE guide and chose to go down the route of 'The no-nonsense approach – tell 'em you won't pay' by sending a letter through the post (albeit a couple of months later, probably mid Nov). Have received no further response from them. Is this all I need to do?
Sent SAR and data rectification for new address. Emailed JD gyms to find the owner but they don't know.
What should my next steps be (considering I have missed the appeals deadlines)? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Please start again with a separate thread for each case. Once their paths diverge it will be a nightmare to deal with them in a single thread.1

Keep this thread for one and just cut & paste the other one into a new thread.
There are no next steps (I hate that term!).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
