Galaxy A54 won't download and play music files

With that page open in Chrome on my A54, if i click on africa-toto.wav the Chrome music player opens and plays the track. No files are downloaded.

Does that work on your phone?

If so then the issue is Facebook-specific.

These files open and play when I click using my Samsung browser.

I hardly ever use Facebook so others will know far more than me but there are a bunch of settings in the FB app under Preferences/Media you could try changing.

Thanks, but I don't use the FB app. I use the Samsung inbuilt browser, and have already looked at these but can't see anything that might be relevant.

Obvious suggestion is try the app? Or Chrome?

Tried these earlier. Still can't ooen .wav files posted on facebook. 

Have reported thus to facebook in case the problem lies with them.

Without hands on the device, I would suspect the  the problem may relate to permissions you have set or not set. 

I'm interested as to why  you  do not use the facebook app  ,especially on a modern phone with  considerable  storage

I tried the fb app and it didn't work. I just prefer to use websites.
