  Good point. I guess they don't want to publicise how rubbish their app is either!

As an update: I installed the Barclays app (I was previously using the Barclaycard app) and registered with the credit card and it's now appearing there!

Just done the same and it's showing, thanks for tip. That's strange as the app looks pretty identical.

Yep, it threw me off too. I'd always assumed Barclays was purely for banking accounts

I have a different problem with my Barclaycard and the Barclays (iOS) app.

When using my Barclaycard for online payments, I don't get the payment approval notifications via the app. Nothing ever comes through. The only way to approve my transactions is to use the text message method (request an sms code and enter that for the transaction). I've told them that this is not a secure method, but they only seem to escalate it, and then close it as "customer did not respond" (when they didn't even attempt to contact me.

It's a known problem as they have closed my complaint three times without fixing it - the known problem appears to be me 
Slightly long rant, but wanted to add my Barclays/Barclaycard app woes to the pile.
