We have some safety features installed for the competition which means it needs manual entry and won’t work unless completely shut down and reopened.

I have had that happen, the way to get round it is to go into browser settings and delete the cookies for the site (in the privacy tab on safari) or sometimes from the browser address bar on some browsers.
