Stay strong Watty, do not be dragged back into this transaction. It's nearly pantomime season, she'll be putting on a show again.

Yeah you might get radio silence and never hear from them again or it could be that she was wavering but now tge option has been taken from it suddenly she'll want it desperately

I don't think you need to worry as she's literally on holiday for a month when you'd repeatedly said she needs to get her act together.
Though it will be hilarious if she comes back with 'How could you possibly refuse me when I've, er, presented you with no funding, no dates, and no sign of capability. You're missing out on so much!'

Well thank you for your perspectives. I was surprised but then human nature does tend to want what is whisked away. I would put the deal back on the table but not without proof that funding can be arranged and a sensible timetable. VNM thinks her advisor overplayed his hand on the bargaining and she knows I have had a tough year with illness so maybe they thought I would just drop the price and "in their own good time" I no longer care.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!5 -
You know, now I have thought for a moment, I have remembered she did tell me how much she had invested in the purchase already having paid her accountant and he always says how keen she is when he writes.
I wonder if you are all right … I have no idea how much an accountant would charge to "negotiate" and "to review a business" but I expect she did chuck a fair amount of money in. As I know her on a professional level, then, yes, I will be expecting the tragic sighs.

Sorry if it's going to be a pain for you but I have popcorn and prosecco on standby for the next enthralling episode of 'I'm awful and simply shocked, shocked you won't do everything I ask'
