How lovely for WattyDog - I hope he's not too sore! Stinky is on holiday (a test for leaving him with the dog walker when I'm away for work etc) and is sending me photos. He's clearly having a lovely time and not missing me at all. Whereas the cats are wandering round the house wailing so they clearly miss him despite the way they treat him when he's here!9

I am indeed so lucky with my neighbours.
Yesterday the 'pen' I have ordered finally arrived. £80 spent and it is fabulous. So sturdy. I should have spent the money on this at the outset as WattyDog is now confined to a small space which means he has to rest (although the cat has patrolled the perimeter frequently!).
VNM and I spent a lovely evening sitting on the floor in the pen with WattyDog just chatting. We had a couple of glasses of wine and had such a nice time (yes I know I have to give up the alcohol but it was 'using up' something in the cupboard)
Dentist yesterday as part of a lot of visits to sort some cracked teeth, this part of the year is about regaining health and sorting out my physical health and hopefully mental health too.

Garden furniture all back. It is all fabulous. The peeling black Facebook freebi set looks stunning in dark grey. Really expensive. The pink set is so vintage looking and the white set restored to look new but best of all are the metallic purple bench ends. I’m delighted with it all. I’ve settled on where it is all to go and absolutely love it all.Yes I am just a tiny bit excited. That is a very real risk. I've stuck to work on the estate agents list rather than "my wants" and I have actually come to love the house (and really love it). But, and it is a big but, I have done nothing about the heating and the house is very cold in winter as it is open plan and relies on a wood burning stove which is a lot of work and which the VNM hates because of the mess and the work. There is one radiator downstairs which is tiny (about 3 feet) to heat the kitchen the living area and the dining area and the stairs and as the heat rises to the landing area it then floats away.Cherryfudge said:You will end up persuading yourself to stay out at this rate!
