    Welcone @I_Love_comps.

My new Benefit mascara has arrived so ive swapped my old one out. Not very impressed by the blusher. It looked very bright when applied. Admittedly I blended it out a lot but now there is no trace of it.

  • A few INS

    Ones I bought
    • Cetraben Overnight Ointment:  Surprised I would like this, as I've never done 'slugging' before, but this has been helpful in retaining moisture, esp when I haven't been using many products.  I'll continue with this now, skin issues or not.  Current tub is almost finished, so got this replacement ready to go.
    • Boots Acetone Free Nail Polish Remover 200ml:  The dinky one I got before Christmas is running low, and as I like to do my nails a coupla times a week, need to ensure I have some.  Replacement.
And some birthday presents I was very nicely gifted:
    • Bella Beaute Bar- Strange and Unusual eyeshadow palette: absolutely beautiful palette, a gift from my parents
    • M&S Apothecary fragrance- Warmth: Smells lovely.  And apparently it is a dupe for a really fancy perfume- Le Labo Santal 33, but this one's only a tenner!  When I have used up all my sample fragrances, I might get Velvet Amber, which is meant to be a dupe for Muglar Alien.
    • The Body Shop- Shower gel in Pears & Share- 250ml: Had a £5 bday voucher, so got this in the sale- smells lovely and it will get used.
    • The Body Shop- Shower cream in Avocado: Plus this to use the rest up of the voucher, though it took it 40p over my voucher, but I don't think that is bad!

    Dentalux Toothpaste

I like this toothpaste as it is a lot cheaper than branded toothpastes .  It has a good rating on my yuka app . I have got another one of these in stock so I do not need to spend any money.

UU a toothpaste and had a replacement already in stock. I am not going to buy another until this one is run down, which, for me induces a sort of panic but this year I'm trying to educate myself not to stock up on things but to save until I really need something.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
  • Throw away

    • Simple Detox & Brighten Clay Mask: From my PP list from last year- did not finish it, and it’s over a year old now (and open over a year), so throwing away.  It was alright.
    • Elf Jelly Pop Glow Stick:  Also from last years PP list.  Didn't finish.  Couldn't even make myself reach for it- it does give a nice wet-look shine though.  Too old for me to want to put on my face now, it's been open well over 6 months expiry and think it kind of smells weird now, so time to go.

  • A few UUs yday

    • Boots Acetone Free Nail Polish Remover 50ml: Didn’t last long. Have replacement in regular size already, it arrived earlier this week.
    • Boots Nail polish remover pads:  I did not like these.  Weirdly greasy and took forever to get even one nail off with them-had to use at least 4 pads to take off my polish- WNBA- absolutely rubbish!

UU Creo body scrub. MRM bought me a set of 4 mini pots at the Hawkshead Christmas Fair. Im not sure what I think of this product. Its dry salt essentially. I prefer body scrub to have some oil in ir. When i open the next pot ill mix it wirh body oil I think. It had a pleasant minty fragrabce

    • Isntree - Onion Newpair Essence Toner [200ml]: I really like this toner, but had to use it up on my body as it had gone past the expiry after opening.  I would repurchase at some point, as it's full of good ingredients
    • Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless Oil Control Setting Powder- 90 Translucent: Enjoy this face powder.  Bought a replacement in Dec as I knew I would be running out early Jan, and as a shiny gal, I cannot be without powder

    In (gift)
    • Made by Mitchell- Mini Mitchell vol. 1- eyeshadow palette:  a lovely birthday present from a lovely friend, so no money was spent on my part.  Neutrals with a pop of pink, purple, blue and green (4 pans are neutral- honest!).

First eyeshadow pan of the year - Lorac Pro Chocolate from the Lorac Pro Matte palette. There were 8 shadows. Im down to the last three which are Chocolate, Burgundy and Jet Black. I am going to depot Chocolate now and throw the remainder away. I just dont reach for dark shadows. I use the Chocolate one in my brows.

Morning all.  Have a couple of UU's from the weekend:

Simple Skin Hydrogel Sheet Mask - WNBA, this was the last of the ones I had and they just don't really seem to do a lot for me.  I'm now all out of hydrating masks so will be going to find something after work tomorrow while I'm in London.  Have my eye on the body shop rose mask as I get discount in there but we shall see.

Wet n Wild Brulee Eyeshadow - WBA, a HG matte beige eyeshadow that is a great base colour or used to help blend out other colours.  Couldn't find any when I went to America last year and it's way overpriced to have shipped here.  So have replaced with the Sephora own brand equivalent which is good but not as buttery smooth as the WnW.

Le Labo Santal 33 sample - WNBA, this had the potential to be a good fragrance for me but there's something about it that doesn't sit well so glad that I only had a sample of it.

Also I sold a perfume online yesterday and already posted it off - Hugo Boss Woman Deep Red which DH bought for me ages ago and I hadn't opened.  He bought one for me originally when we started dating so I wore it but wasn't that keen on it.  Then a couple of years ago he just bought it for me again randomly and I just put it away in a box.  So decluttered it yesterday and made a few £ for it.  Currently just working through samples of fragrance as have a lot hanging around!
