  • I think some redheads burn more easily than others.  I'm in the goes bright red in minutes variety hence sit in shade, cover up and wear factor 50.  One good thing is when I had a facial, birthday present from DD, the beautician said my skin was very good for a 70 year old, when I said I always wear factor 50 she just said that explains it.

For those who have osteoporosis in your family, you should be able to get a Dexa scan on the NHS. Also, if you are looking to manage bone health without prescription, this is a very good resource:

I had a similar comment when I had a facial recently 😀. Like you I start to burn within minutes - I have to be careful even if I am just hanging the washing out in the summer.

Loving the vanity station @chanie - wish I had room to do something similar - half of my stuff is in the bedroom and the rest in the bathroom cabinet. Nice to have everything at hand - much easier to keep up with a routine when all your products etc. are accessible 😀
  • Good Morning Lovely Ladies.

Chanie.  Love the vanity station, nice to have everything together.  No excuses now not to keep up with your routines. 😂. I have to confess, although this house is good for storage  I have stuff all over the place. I am hopping to be able to get much better organised in my next house.

Well the good news is I've lost 1lb. Wahoo, 💃.  Ok not that exciting but I'm pleased, it's a start.  Particularly as I haven't really been "dieting" as such, just cutting out starchy carbs. Ive been experimenting with my air fryer, very pleased with the results so far.

Interesting talks about dexa scans, definitely worth having one done if you think you might be at risk of osteoporosis so that you can take preventative measures.

I have just bought a battery operated electric cleansing brush.  (Only £9 off Amazon). I used to have one years ago but it died so I've finally got round to replacing it.  There are several heads, including one for facial massages, so not just a good tool for deep cleansing but also the massage bit is great for lymphatic drainage and reducing any puffiness.

Lovely day here, off out and about later.

Have a great week, keeeeeep fabbing.
  • @chanie. Love your beauty station, particularly the mirror. The table fits the space perfectly. Do you have a chair or can I spot it under the table?

@helensbiggestfan. I bought one of those facial scrubbers too, but I never use it. Why?? I used it for a while then, like my other beauty routines, stopped, just because I was too lazy and didn’t make the effort. Right, off to try and find it to see if it still works, and if it does, will no doubt have to replace the batteries. Is it like this one? You got a bargain with yours. Mine was £12.99 purchased in 2018, now discontinued. Bet it doesn’t work now.

That's the one.  Currently £8.49 on Amazon.  My last one (different make) was about £15 if I remember correctly.

Well that's me with some colour back in my hair. Ginger it is again. I have measured it out to get 2 good do's out of it. Next box I will aim for 3  ;)

Just found some nail polish sat on the window sill whilst in here with an eau natural finish so just slapped it on.

Found 4 items of clothing in CS shops locally 1 for DH and 3 for me. 2  were BN with labels still on.
