The odd negative feedback doesn't put me off as long as the seller has responded calmly and factually.

I've also left the odd positive yet "cryptic" buyer fb e.g. sorry you felt the item was faulty as it was working as normal when I received it back.

Makes the buyer look like an ejit!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

There’s no point in leaving positives for buyers it just makes them look better and virtually no one reads them and they quickly fall off the front page anyway. The only thing I check is feedback that buyer has left for others, that shows the type of buyer they are.

Thanks again all....I've added fb and it is all fact with dates and my interpretation as to what happened etc.

The buyer shouldn't have access to the internet, nevermind eBay.

I've since had a message from him telling me to remove the 'positive' feedback with my take on the story and also my reply to my negative fb is also 'incorrect'. Oh dear!

As both a biz and private seller on two differing a/cs, I've not come across someone as belligerent, threatening and difficult as this nutcase. If anyone wants to know the username, I can message to save you difficulty in future should this be your buyer. Thanks again all.
Just to clarify, you didn’t leave him a positive feedback with negative comments did you? That’s a real no no and if buyer knows what they are doing they can get it removed and you will get a warning. Buyer has also got another lovely positive to up his limit and all future sellers will see is a list of positives.
I've only replied to his neg on my a/c. I won't be leaving 'positive' fb. To be honest, since seeing what he's left for others, he's certainly one to avoid as plenty of negs he's left in the past year. He seems both angry and slanderous, so not one who should have internet nevermind an eBay account.

Report the buyer stating the facts - bought xx posted xx received xx and also mention their feedback.

I done this, although slightly different - buyer said NAD forced me to pay for return postage, then had the cheek to admit "did not read description, so unsuitable, gave to charity shop"  I complained that they now admitted it was as described, they just didn't read it and item was returned - did NOT go to a charity shop as stated in feedback.  E Bay removed the feedback - which by the way was neutral.
