PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING

Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address. Thank you for your understanding.

They have the part, they told me on the 13th when I called. This could have been resolved by now. It says that in the post.
I didn’t understand them claiming to have the part, but it’s an availability issue. Was the availability issue in collecting the part from a central location, it being delivered or having someone able to fit it?

  • Put in an official complaint (the process will be on their website).  Where I used to work there was a guide to how much you could offer.  But you could always say I would like compensation but not say an amount and see what is offered?

They made it sound like they had the part but no spaces available for someone to come fit it.

    Thanks, i'll try that.
  • To get things done you have to kick up a fuss. Tell them you are contacting your local councillor and local press as this is completely unacceptable.
