Not at all, unless you are convinced that Which have compared all Plasma / LCd TV's ever produced, using the same source of material to test them all.
Sadly, I am not.Something Really Interesting0 -
I have been looking for one too - The TV's that seem to come out on top for picture quality is most of the Panasonic range ( which and the Gadget show) - TX 37LZD70 for the LCD and the TH-37PX70 for the plasma.you need to make sure that the tv also has at least 2 HDMI sockets for other HD equipment input and 1080P. Because of that we r going for the LCD as it is fully 1080P. The equivalent 1080p version of the plasma will be out later this year.
We did buy a Sony Viera but the picture was not good so we took it back - we phoned Sony to try to sort it, but they just apologised for the quality !!! They told us to take it back. It was worse than our old panasonic that we r now replacing.

I do not disagree with you as to the number of TVs they have compared, but, as I do not have access even to the number that they do compare nor do I have the expertise to do the type of tests that they do do then I regard their input as worthwhile.
Fair enough, but I far prefer to use AVForums, where actual owners discuss their sets over a time span, warts and all.0 -

Get the hannspree 37" from Ebuyer or clearance buys
I got mine from clearance buys
Had loads of people over recently and they couldn't belive how good the quality was compared with their £800 32" TV's sony's etc
the sound is a bit poo, but i have a £25 surround sound unit from asda which has loads of bass, i just switch it to 2.1 as the 5.1 annoys me.
you have a audio out on the tv so can use the TV speaker and surround at the same time
get over to AVforums, everyone is raving about how good it is (the new model)
Use the remaining cash to get some high quality cable to connect your devices, and use the rest of the cash to go on holiday!0 -
What's the contrast ratio? What's the black level's? Is it 1080p? Etc etc
Saying it's good quality isn't enough am afraid[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."
