Lebara PAYG?
My MSE Lebara deal has reached the end of it's 49p deal so I've turned off 'auto renewal' and they tell me that I will be charged "standard PAYG rates"
*If* I make any calls, or use any data, will these simply be charged to my card that was associated with auto-renewal or would I need to 'top up' first?

You will need a credit balance, so unless autotopup is enabled you will need to manually add credit before you can make calls or send texts.
