They probably need to find all the customers unknowingly paying for Vodafones SecureNet. Had that several times myself even though I
always told them not to add the free trial onto my account at the start. Always on the ball checking my Vodafone bill though so always
caught at the very first incorrect payment.
One customer rep claimed I took out the free trial and had no answers as to why the free trial only started taking money some 7 or 9 months
into the plan. 1 month or 3 month trial OK but 7/9 months? I also had proof of my request not to add the trial to my account at the start also.
I think another overcharge was Vodafone 360? Suddenly starting taking additional money for that even though it was not a 360 Phone?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...2 -
HI, I have been with EE mobile for 30 years, I was with orange then it changed to EE I was on a sim only deal witch was out of contract for over 7 years "I think" I have been paying £5 to £7 each month for many years, I have been in and out of hospital in 2024 so I never checked my bank statement for months, it has came to light that EE has changed my monthly bill from £7 to £48.99 this has been going on since march 2024, After contacting EE I was told that they sent me a message in feb, that they are removing my add on's ? and "nothing about upping my bill going up to £48.99, I was then told by a EE advisor that there is nothing I can do to get the extra £450 that they have taken from my bank account over the last 7 to 8 months and I can get upgraded or leave EE,I feel like I have been scammed and taken advantage of, I have now cancelled my EE phone and need help if there is any way I can recover my money back... And the the phone has not been used or switch on for most of the year while I was in and out of hospital so no calls was made on the phone. can anybody help or advice me what can I do next. Thanks1

HI, yes it was on contract with EE, I was on a sim only deal which was out of contract for many years, EE would call me and ask me to upgrade to a better deal and lock me back into a new contract, I told them that I don't need a new phone or apple tv...that I am happy with the sim only deal that I have had for many years, I feel let down and scammed by EE for taking this large amount of money without even contacting me first to tell me it was going to change from £7 to £48.99, I have been paying them by direct debit for about 30 years never missed a payment and then they do this to me,0

Are you sure this is all correct as it's more than the unlimited EE contracts ?
Can you double check your account breakdown on your bill or in My EE?0 -
I was paying £5 then it went upto £7 for unlimited calls and text with 20 gig of data, I have had this package for many years and they now have told me that the bolt on loyalty package that I had, that they no longer do this? I have had this for many years and as I already posted they moved the payments from £7 up to £48.99 for the same deal (unlimited calls and text with 20 gig data) without even contacting me, the phone call I had with EE I told that I had 2 options (1) that I can leave EE. (2) I can upgrade. Why should I upgrade when They have taken £450 from my bank account without my authorization is disgusting. hope this helps0

I was trying to ask if your phone, the actual handset, was supplied to you by EE. It's just not feasible for any SIM-only tariff to cost £49. Did you, perhaps unwittingly, allow EE to sell you a new contract last March that included the phone..?
