Sorry to hear your news, Pipney Jane, I hope you have a speedy recovery.Grocery challenge 2025: £650/1500 annual budget2

Finally ate the second half of the vegetable chilli I cooked and froze a couple of months back, and I made american-style pancakes for breakfast this morning to use up the rest of the sour cream.
Otherwise £182.39 spent so far this month. I could do with some raisins and cream of tartar or baking powder - not for anything immediate, it's just I'm out - and I'll probably buy a pastry on the way into work tomorrow. Some fresh fruit would be a good idea too. I currently have an apple, half a lemon and half a lime.Fashion on the Ration 2025 - 1.5 coupons remaining

Think I've gone a bit over but I did buy cat food from Tesco rather than a bulk order separately so that will account for it really3

Last shop of the month done and I spent £82, so my monthly total is £442/ £400.
So I’m £42 over budget, which I am happy with. My budget is £100 per week (includes cleaning product and toiletries), however I set my budget before realising Jan was a 5 week month for me….so had I not been so ditsy I would have been £58 under budget.
Now on to February….going to keep to the same weekly budget in Feb and then try to drop it by £10 a week in March

Went slightly over budget at 255.12/255. I have to remind myself that this is still better than I was doing. Got a bit slack over last week with top ups and buying meal deals for lunch instead of making a packed lunch.
Shouldn't need to shop again before next weekend.4 -
111.78/160
For January I have managed to spend just under 112 quid out of the 160 I budgeted. I still might need to pop to the shops for a few lunchtime items but imagine that wouldn't be anymore than £10.
All in all an easy month but I had filled the freezers during December. I'll see whether I can maintain this is February5 -
£1.68 spent on peppers and carrots.
Just over £5.50 left from this week's budget. I will put this in the bulk fund.

Finishing up January budget with £66.45 shop at Asda and milkman £5.50 gives me a total spend for January £337.38/350.00 stayed in budget but feel I could have done better. Will try harder in February. Hope everyone’s doing well.

£6.50 spent in Sainsbury's on fruit and vegetables.
Now I'm on the hunt for eggs as both Sainsbury's and Lidl didn't have the large packs of reasonably priced eggs.
The egg section in Lidl was almost bare and Sainsbury's was tiny, but had mostly the experience large packs of eggs.
I saw on the news this morning about the price of certain items going up because of the extra checks and I'm dreading it.
I think it's mainly the imported fruit and veg.Decluttering campaign 2023

Hi everyone,
I’ve just completed my last shop for January. My shop today cost £56.18.
I’ve gone over budget this month but I’m not too upset about it because I’ve certainly learned a lot from keeping track of my grocery spending. So overall I think it’s been a positive experience.Total for the month £511.29/£500Save £12k in 2024: £13,542/£12,0008
