@PipneyJane - sending you my very best wishes too.  Look forward to seeing you when you are able to pop in to see us in the grocery challenge.
  • @{{{Hugs}}} @PipneyJane; chemo's not the best fun, but it does the trick...

Well, I'm horrified to end the month £75-odd over target. Misjudged that one majorly... Partly down to actually running out of a number of store-cupboard staples - must keep tighter tabs on the supply chain - and a few unanticipated visitors, but generally just everything costing more than I think it ought to! Also it was a 5-week month; it's not over yet but I do have everything in that we'll need until payday on 31st. Menu plan is sorted. Household numbers go back up to "normal" - well, it is for us - and dietary requirements (& preferences) get more convoluted - sigh!

  • I've barely touched the vegetarian mains I bought for the freezer.
I have picked up plenty of fresh fruit and veg, plus have been using store cupboard stock.
I spent just under £5 yesterday and have £5 in the bulk fund with around £2 left.
I will double check and post what's left for this week.
