We had a gardener, occasional cleaner and house clearance in and out until mum's house sold. Truly not an issue.

Is reluctant executor secretly living there? Or something?

thanks again everyone.  Update, the 2nd executor (who has until now by choice sat on the sidelines) has now spoken to my partner and both told the 3rd/awkward executor to get things moving.

Life assurance policy has been transferred and all other accounts being paid into a new executor account as it should of been months ago.

Home insurance updated to show mum passed and house currently empty.  Utility companies informed.

Have completed the Bereavement Closure Form for mums account, unsure if we need to do a separate one for all 3 accounts (mums current account, savings account and ISA) or the one form will close all 3.  Will ask Barclays this week.
thanks again everyone, hopefully this is the last hurdle to cross!
