I'm of the variety that only cleans what I can see, hence the dust bunnies under the bed that only get vacuumed up when we flip the mattress once every 6 weeks!
I've also delegated the sides of the cooker to OH - he does the cooking & creates the mess, so he gets to wrestle it out and clean it!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! I've enjoyed dusting a lot more since I bought a duster made of wool (like a feather duster, on a stick, but without feathers) 😁 I just dance round with it occasionally, mostly getting rid of cobwebs 😂8

Good evening MFW'rs
Thank you for joining in the dusting woes - it's certainly taken a course I didn't expect, although Dearest Cheery has set the bar awfully high now....... 🤣🤭😘
Tea was great, I totally will make this SC Vegan Stew again. It had ingredients that I'm 'likely' to have hanging around, it can be adjusted (I think korean pepper paste, and smoked paprika would be ripe of inclusion), and it was simple to make in the SC. I didn't use pouch speckled lentils. I had a bag of 'raw' lentils, and I cooked a few up, quickly and put them in the stew more or less from the start. Had we all been eating, I would have put the lentils in 'raw' as I am sure they would have cooked in the 6hrs, although more liquid would be needed to be added. I used a tiny chilli pepper that was in the bag from the last MrL box. I scraped out all the seeds and the white membrane, and it was just right. A slight kick if you got a tiny piece, but not overpowering chilli hotness. I possibly wouldn't have added it, had LG been eating with us. I served the stew with brown basmati rice. There was some rice left over and a portion of the stew to freeze for another day.
The washing came in more or less dry. One sock that came out of the machine sopping wet (got stuck in the door), and the tops that had been out in the rain this morning hadn't dried to bone dryness, but I have put them on the airer, and I think by morning they will be fine.
Today has been great. There have been culinary successes, a few laughs provided in MrL (shan't mention them here, not appropriate, but DH agreed it is 'all going on' in our local store 😱), and I even managed to winkle some homework out of LG before they went off to club, No mean feat, and they are still a little behind because of not feeling so well, but closer to being up to date. They might manage to have everything ticked off by the time school starts tomorrow.
Ta for popping by, joining in the convo, and providing lots of laughs. It is appreciated, as always.

Stew sounds yummy GP. Re dust, I'm with Quentin Crisp on the subject, he declared that "There was no need to do any housework at all. After four years the dust doesn’t get any worse"7
