Aw shucks - you guys 🥰 I loved that I feel 'accountable' if I report in here. I know you all don't have any expectations of me/my family, but I still feel if I have to record it, I have to at least have tried my best - and sometimes I don't feel like doing it, but do anyway, so thank you.
Off out to the school performance now. One more thing to tick off the list. Nearly the end of term......

Happy 1st anniversary 😁
We are still in credit with the leccy board, but of course, we're entering the 3 most expensive months of the year. We used £20 worth more energy this month, compared to last. I didn't put the heating on until later in the evening last night, as it stayed quite mild. I'll take the 'wins' where I can.
Anyhoo, you're doing very well if you're still reading this. I'm wittering and have been for a whole year!

Happy diary anniversary. I really enjoy reading your washing line tales and your adventures with swedes - whether they be small or wrinkly or mahoosive 😄4

Good Morning MFW'rs
Here we go again.
Last day of term. Last day of Zoe B's brekkie show on R2.
Yesterday's washing isn't really truly dry. It's had at least 2 hrs in front of the dehu on laundry mode, and overnight on the airer, but there are collars/cuffs that are still dampish. However, it should mean that DH has clothes for the start of the working week, next week and everyone else has sufficient fabric 'coverage' over the weekend.
Lot of running around last night, but obligations met and it was good to see young people trying their best and working together - and LG didn't fluff their line, so win. LG then did have the energy to go on to club, so it was a bit of a driving marathon for DH, but we did also get to see some more Christmas lights, so swings and roundabouts and all that.
Hopefully it will be pizza and wedges for tea, as LG hasn't got pizza in their lunchbox today, so we can all have pizza tonight.
DH got a Christmas 'box' of wine from work - not an actual box, just (to paraphrase Mr Willliam Martin Joel), "a bottle of red & a bottle of white......". Presumably the 'big bosses' have finished for the Christmas period, and wanted to show some appreciation......
Right, best go and whip up some snap.

I popped out to Mr Al and MrL, as I realised that despite 🙄 making a menu-plan-ish for the next week, I had forgotten several bits that might be useful - naked sausages anyone? When you were all expecting hot dogs fer yer tea?
Anyhoo, I will tot up the food spend in a minute - I did get a couple of bottles of wine, some fizzy stuff and a bottle of Reisling to accompany a boxing day curry - but they're not part of the grocery budget.
MrAl was busy, but calm - although in was interesting that people were browsing and filling their trolleys - in stark contrast to the majority in MrL yesterday working from lists. An interesting difference, as with the shop staff trying to stock shelves from carts/pallets, it made it slightly more difficult to get around the store. However, eveyone was relaxed and good natured, so it was fine.
I did have to pop into MrL, as I couldn't find the Reisling in MrAl. quite busy, but again, calm and good natured. The poor auld operative on the till wasn't their usual cheery self though, and they were rather hoping we could all fast forward to January...... they did wish me a Merry Christmas though 😁
Right, I really had better crack on. I promised LG we could put up the tree today, after school, and there is a gazinty million things to move/dust before that can happen.
