Hi
I earn about 49k.
My PAYE has gone up about £30 since last month and i am not sure why...
Is this something to do with the budget!?
Thanks!

Probably wont be, the NI changes dont come in until January.
Why dont you just compare this wageslip with the last one?1 -
Nothing to do with the budget. Has your tax code changed ? The most likely reason.

have you had any extra income recently which would have taken you into the next tax bracket?1

If you want to know exactly why this has happened you have to give details, all the above may have caused this as well as a bonus or higher earnings earlier in the tax year that put you into a temporary higher tax band and have now been corrected.
From your payslip which had the £30 extra and the one before that....
Taxable gross
Tax paid
Tax code/basis
Week/month number or date paid
Taxable gross to date
Tax paid to date

No extra income recently .

You will need to post details of your payslips if you want an answer2

Well you will have tax on both, NI on both, maybe other deductions on both, and a base salary on both.collinsca said:
