Advent Calendars come in all shapes and sizes.
I've seen 7, 11, 12, 24, 25 and even 30.
When it comes to tradition, if the forum has a tradition (when we've only being doing this for 2 years) it would be 25 since that's what we did last year (below).
(Many advent graphics come with 25 images to fit in a 5x5 grid)
