All I've read over the past few weeks suggests that prices will fall come April 2024.  No idea how true that prediction may be, but it seems to be coming from multiple sources, so my hope is that it's right.  If a fixed deal becomes available then that looks good I might take it, just because I'm getting fed up with having to chase around for a new supplier every six months or so.

... also as your split is 5% peak 95% off-peak and presumably higher consumption during winter months, your interest in rates post April is less than your interest in off-peak rates pre April.

The split is 0.5% peak, 99.5% off-peak There was a typo in my earlier post, now fixed), but your conclusion is correct!
