    AIL on my bank statement is Aviva Insurance Limited (albeit through a third party, HSBC). Have you cancelled or not renewed any home / motor insurance recently?

    No, I haven't. I took out car insurance from Aviva this year but that was in June and no reason to get anything back from them.
