You've started something here! Despite the 'best efforts' :D of the government, the public may still get hold of many professional weedkillers, mainly on-line, but also in person. Some of these are not necessarily 'stronger' but they're different from non-pro products, and may have negative effects if applied wrongly.
I would guess the answer most people might give would be SBK Brushwood Killer like this:
However, it really depends on what a person is trying to achieve. A dragster might be the 'fastest' car, but on a rally it would be as useful as a penny-farthing!
So the next question is, "What are you trying to kill and why?”

Exactly the question I was going to ask.
Because doing away with dandelion is different to knocking out a sycamore.
So what it's for makes a difference to the answer.

Beat me to it, I was going to be facetious and reply diesel, but some may take that as a “proper” response

I removed the shell from my racing snail, but now it's more sluggish than ever.

Perhaps mix the two, diesel & salt and paint on for spot treatment :D

Diesel and a nitrate fertilizer - Use enough, and it will get rid of everything  :o

  • Glychophate or something. It’s not very good to use.

Thanks all for the comments, some made me laugh  :D

its for a few ordinary small weeds, no dandelions, knotweed or mares tails etc.  I’ll get some glyphosate probably.

Glyphosate, being systemic, works within the plant's system to inhibit photosynthesis and starve it to death. Given the time of year, there won't be much photosynthesis going on. Bear in mind that if it works, it will do so very slowly.
