Won a DFDS cruise but having trouble :(

I've also won a 3 night cruise to Norway, unfortunately we can't go & it's not transferable - never mind:o
Doesn't look like you get a lot of time ashore & I expect you'd spend a lot onboard as you are at thier mercy for meals etc, well that's what I'm saying so I won't be as dissapointed!!

have done this mini cruise a few times, If you like being on the ship its good little trip although better in the summer from the point of view that you can sit out on deck as you travel along the coast of Norway which is very pretty,
did it in jan once though and it was quite a surreal feeling when we got to Bergan and in fact for several hours before it was snowing a blizzard and you couldnt see much past the end if youre nose , we sad people enjoyed the experience all the same,
The ship is cosy, with entertainment, some ships have swimmingpool, all have live evening entertainment and things like cinema, gaming tables piano bar, meals wont be included in the cost, and are quite expensive, however you can take stuff with you much like the amsterdam trip.:j think youll enjoy the trip if you decide to go for it

We have also done the Norway mini cruise. The prize won't include meals. They virtually give away the trip because they make money on the meals. Drinks are not unreasonably dear - and the measures are big - but food isn't cheap.

We enjoyed it.

we went on bergen cruise last feb,the tuesday departures give you from 11pm wednesday until 5pm thursday,weather permitting

Thanks everyone. We will probably take our own supper, but it's Valentine's Day so it'll be a bit of a shame!
